Bach Mass in B minor

...in the echo of the tsunami

Gustaf Sjökvist, his Chamber Choir and members of the Radio Symphony Orchestra during dress rehearsal of the B minor Mass.

The beautiful and soulful Mass in B minor by Johann Sebastian Bach was tonight performed in Storkyrkan, in the Old Town of Stockholm. It was a great privilege to once again doing music with such eminent co-musicians as maestro Gustaf Sjökvist, the Gustaf Sjökvist Chamber Choir, members of the Radio Symphony Orchestra, Annika Hudak (alto), Mikael Stenbaek (tenor) and Ove Pettersson (bass).

The words of Kyrie Eleison, O Lord have mercy upon us, were cried out during the concert honoring all the victims of the Japan tsunami...
